I still prefer the Gram & Emmylou version (see my previous entry here) but this is pretty amazing.
It has probably become clear to anyone following this blog that my obsession with Elvis Costello grows by the day. In fact, i’d say it’s verging on unhealthy.
This is so absurdly good that I can no longer keep it to myself. Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice doing the Everly Brothers/Roy Orbison/Gram Parsons song ‘Love Hurts’. I was lucky enough to witness a performance of this last Tuesday night at Jenny’s Sydney show. Definitely a tear jerker.
